Blog 2

So, the long awaited blog 2.
The idea for writing a regular blog came from our SEO company as a way of hitting our keywords to move up the rankings on Google and reaching the first page, where apparently 90% of all the traffic is.

Our keywords/phrases are: “Set Construction London”, ”Set Builders London”, “Event Set Builders” and, ”Set Design London.”

That is that box ticked. Work wise, we’ve been very busy since the last time of writing, the brand activation at Ascot Racecourse for Christy Towels went very well, the 3d photography stand was well received and the clients very happy. We’ve had a few corporate events that we have built set and supplied crew for, as well as building up our stock of flattage and Litedeck with a view to taking on more of this kind of work.

On the TV front we’ve had a set build for BBC one’s comedy show, ”Partners In Rhyme” hosted by Len Goodman. Also for BBC one, an end game for their new Saturday night primetime show, “Wedding Day Winners” which will air in the spring of 2018. This one was a bit of a monster, which involved building two 16’x16’ walls with a another 2 meter high CNC cut lightbox attached to the very top, contestants were asked to scale the wall on ropes and pullies and attach giftwrap bows to, for various sections to light up indicating success or failure.
Following on from that we re-furbished a comedy photobooth for a sketch on ITV’s Saturday Night Takeaway and our old favourite, Britain’s Classroom Heroes for The Teaching Awards Trust, a job we have done for the past four years, which aired a couple of weeks ago on BBC 2 and recognizes the great work being done by our school teachers up and down the country. Right now we’ve got a last minute set build we’re working on for a new pilot also for the BBC, more details to follow….
